The couple gave a controversial testitmony

The annual programme of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel dubbed 'Shiloh 2016'  sparked outrage yesterday following a controversial testimony shared on the church's Twitter page.

The event with the theme “My Case is Different”, generated controversy online with one of its testimonies said to be debasing, discriminatory and an elevation of patriarchy.

The shared testimony reads: "By faith, medical protocols are broken with the delivery of 2 bouncing boys when gynaecological scans confirmed them to be girls."

Many people condemned the testimony as promoting misogyny which elevates one gender above the other and implies that giving birth to a female child was worth less compared to a male child.
