Saraki & Ikenga
We
reported earlier that Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, the National President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and aide to Senate President, Bukola Saraki, allegedly went missing after operatives of the DSS reportedly broke into his office in Abuja and ransacked it.
In an official statement posted on his social media accounts, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki said his aide should face the consequences if found guilty of the allegation levelled against him by the Department of State Services (DSS).
It was gathered that the nation's secret police had accused Ikenga of plotting with the governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, to destabilise the federal capital territory (FCT).
In the statement, Saraki charged DSS to properly investigate the allegation, adding that he would not condone any action which threatened the peace of the country, even by his aides.
