Black Sunday in Niger as Former State Governor Dies in German Hospital

A former governor of Niger State, Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure, has passed away following a kidney related illness.

The former governor of Niger state, Engr. Abdukadir Kure has died. 

 

According to online reports, Kure died in a German hospital where he was flown for treatment some weeks ago.

 

Family sources disclosed that he died of complications arising from liver disease. 

 

He was the governor of Niger state between 1999-2007.
